Every time we get a new product to check out for Big Daily Sale I always have to ask myself how I can best showcase its features while at the same time having a little bit of fun on the side. That’s why when this here USB 2.0 Sound-Activated MiniDV Camcorder landed on my desk I got one of those grins on my face…the kind of grin that says “Despite the torture, I love this job!”

I mean, we knew that there had to be some video posted up here, but didn’t quite know what the delivery method should be. “Bathroom Cam”? Nope. “Fist Cam”? Not so much… “Digestive System Cam”? …ugh…not again.

Obviously the Mini DV Spy Cam is small enough, so any of those ideas could technically work, but I don’t think I’m up for the jail/hospital time that would follow afterwards. So the BDS crew and I tried a few options…

Yes, there’s supposed to be an exclamation point in there, and it was such an obvious idea I wasn’t in the slightest bit surprised when it failed miserably. Getting the dog to come to us was one thing, but actually mounting the Mini DV Spy Cam to its collar? It was…well…see for yourself, but hold onto your vomit buckets, folks!

Also not as great as I thought it would be, especially because I was holding the camera like a fool, so you can’t see a #@%& thing I’m doing. I’ll give you a play by play, for the curious, though. As you can see, I bound down the hallway thinking about how cool it would have been for the dog to be doing this instead of me, steal somebody’s Dr. Pepper out of the fridge (Hint: look in the dumpster!) and trot out into the warehouse like I have no clue as to what I'm doing. In other words, the dog would have been a lot more interesting to watch.

But as I was running about like an idiot I heard a voice…
It said “Hey, what about attaching it to that remote controlled car we sold awhile back?”, and I thought “Well, that would be a WONDERFUL idea!” let me just slap myself for not thinking of it first! So, what did the five fingers say to the face?
