So, what is a “buff” exactly?
Normal human beings think of buffing a car or a bald mans head to a shine, while others (nerds!) associate the word “buff” with World of Warcraft or other online game because it’s meant to describe a spell or item that augments your abilities. There are also de-buffs, but that’s a whole other subject that can lead to griefing, grinding, camping, loling and larping if I’m not careful, so I’ll put a sock in it for now.
